ANGRY AMERICA
An Angry America we are. We think that protest should relieve. But I'm not politally sure. That violence and conquest is the cure. [(Chorus)We'll I'm not controlling you. I've been there myself, I've seen the truth. And there are rules to natural law. You can't control them all.] An Empty America we are. Like a disease without a cure. Or an uncontrollable desire. To start this uncontrollable fire. [CHORUS] You can't control them all you say. Constitution will help refrain. You can't control them all you know. Just sit back and watch it grow. Like weeds in a garden grove.

MODEL CITIZEN
I watch the evening news and slip it through my ears. Because it's never what I think I need to hear. I know we've sent the rocket ships up into outerspace. But still, we've yet to find what's there. [(Chorus)I am a model citizen. Expect a happy man when dirt is on my hands? I see this world is not for me. When we can sit and watch this shit that's on my hands.] When plants can slowly die from toxic vapors in the sky. Did we ever think this is the end. And when I look around I see the only faces left. And they hate themselves because they would not bend. [CHORUS] [(Bridge) But there's nothing more to take this world we've lost control. Of what we used to call our home. With plasma beams and porno scenes our minds are too afraid. (seem to defray) So believe in what we used to call our cause. And no one will as for such applause.] I know I sit alone and feel so innocent. Because I think I've never touched a soul. But now I realize it's not the ones with the red buttons. But the ones who sit and watch it go. So now our time is short, there's no one left to hurt a soul. Still no more souls to ever hear their cries. The Earth is black the sky is grey. It's something that can't be explained. Just do your best to stay out of their way. [CHORUS] [BRIDGE] I am a Model Citizen (x2) And no one can ask for such applause.

WHAT YOU WANT
I've been told we've been there before. But there's nothing to see. Like a door, I've closed all my life. Now there's no opening. So if you want to test this will again and again. I'm straight as a board and nothing's changing. I don't need to believe in your goal. Again, I've been there before. And nothing's changing. [(Chorus)I'm just a man who's trying. My society is politically dying. I do all I can. To see who you are. But you don't know, you don't know what you want.] Without gain I've forged through this storm. Accepting sorrow and pain. And saviors they come when we serve them like sons. Signs our whole lives away. So if you are waiting for pictures to fade. I've been there before and yet we're jaded. But what if we're looking for more. So we've been there before and nothing's changing. [CHORUS]

PROZAC NATION
A righteous man you call yourself. Well I can't see a thing. It's delusion you set forth now. To make it seem that way. And you ask us to come forth. So you can bless our sinning souls. We'll I'm not ready yet. I can't give what you can't pay back. I know it's not the kinda thing. That you were hoping for. Empty all your banks accounts so we can start a war. And the prostitutes all know your name. But it's God that you work for. But I don't believe in that. I can't give what you can't pay back. It's gonna take some time for us to get off. This young and depressed life. Gonna take a little time for us to get off. This young and depressed life. In the world outside we fight those. You and depressed fights. Two more excuses for them to live their. Young and depressed life. I see all these people die to worship at your feet. If they saw into your eyes, they'd see the eyes of me. Because I am taking over now to show you how to teach. Because your world is turning black. I can't give what you can't pay back. And now we see that only time does change. There's just some things that you can't teach. But you can wallow in society. Still I need better air to breathe, comfortably! Young and depressed is the state of America.(x7)

LEARNING LIFE
These are heavy weights upon us. When nothing seems to fit. In a world of nuclear giants. And ethical infants, we have three degrees for murder. But none for love or life. Television censorship and we're running out of time. [(Chorus) So we were crying because we're learning life today. Realizing nothing brings back yesterday. And we were crying because we're learning life today. Using precious things that you just can't replace. Learning life today.] So now we're currently dead we can all think ahead. Of the karma that sits in the wings with unrest. And the man with the bullet aimed directly at my head. Only shadows upon everything that we regret. [CHORUS] We were all dead before we were conceived. Some God built a world to tend to all of our needs. He gave us clouds to block the sun, trees to help us breathe. Lonliness and happiness that made our lives complete. [CHORUS]

SHOCKING GLIMPSE
Currently, Damien is proclaiming that the lyrics for Shocking Glimpse are "just too fucking shocking" and therefore they will not be posted on the site until someone has enough balls to figure them out for me.

WHAT THE PREACHERS HATE
I'm not watching anything you protest in the streets. It makes me sick to think of your frustration. I just hope you have no plans to try and recruit me. Because I don't speak that type of conversation. Walk around without your hair. Wave your flags in the air. Causing pain as if it were your right. Bleeding red is all you see, not best for all humanity. Portray yourself as if you want to fight. [(Chorus)Well I'm not listening. My brain is trained to block out your stupidity. I'm not listening. You can't declare what's right or wrong. You sing your song and then you're gone. Are these the words of God? It's what the preachers hate.] Well I'm not buying anything. You're selling in the streets. Your hate breeds from years of constant failure. This fear of things not like you. When colors are compared. To this America's reckless situation. [CHORUS] But sinners are liars, hopeless dope buyers. Your book of holiness tells you so. So fight those who fight you. Ignore and opress you. Not the ones who help our children grow. [CHORUS]

SIMPLY THE VICTIM
In search for truth as you may. We were looking for water found nothing but thirst. Divided by millions contending the odds. Now a handful of dirt. And if you read all the signs. You will notice what events are causing this now. And if you are conjecting some meticulous plan. I think we'd all be dead by now. We know we're right and we won't run. We'll burn those fucking fences down. We won't be slaves that's why we'll win. We're all Model Citizens. If we don't fight then we can't win. Simply the victims again. Simply the victims again. So now we've heard all the plans. And we're waiting for someone to just take a stand. Inquired conventions cause consuming minds. But we are, just a band! We know we're right and we won't run. We'll burn those fucking fences down. There's no compromise we know what to do. Fuck! We've got nothing to lose. If we don't fight then we can't win. Simply the victims again. Simply the victims again.

BEST FOR ME
There's a cop on the corner. With a nightstick in his hand. Awaiting a youth. To play his favorite punkrock band. But the age of consent. Has caught up with him again. There's a governmental predjudice. And the law is at it's head. But the people are seeking their revenge. There's a course of buisiness. Awaiting to be said. But only we the people. Can put this fucking thing to rest. But no one can take faith. I've kept inside my mind. Like documents and imagery. That only I define. But we have been so fuckin' blind. Fuck you, I'm free. You can't pass laws. To stop skateboarding in my streets. Fuck you, I'm free. And if the world wants control. We'll it can disclude me. Because minds need time to grow. These eyes may never know. Never know, never see. Live in the shadows. That's what's best for me.

STORY OF A PUNK ROCKER
If I tend to look away. Reminding myself of these altercations. That I've had throughout my days. Fighting with fists instead of conversation. Make sure you give me all your thoughts. And always be sincere when I ask your opinion. This is what we call building trust. And I've had it in my hand and seen it vanish. [(Chorus)Well, I'm not crazy, I know what we all need. Time to heal our hearts and free our minds. The past can steer you in the wrong direction. Till you see, we have se little time. Why is your heart blocking your mind?] I'd like to thank you for the chance. To be next to you in my state of being. And if our time is ever short. Then I want you to know it was not my doing. [CHORUS]

WE WON'T FORGET (PART II)
You heard a call in the night. When our lives were black and white. It told you to fall into line. And though you forgive and tried to forget. those thoughts were just stuck in your mind. Now we're three billion years young. Still acting like one. And yes, still we struggle each day. But what will come of us. If our homes have turned to dust. We're sure gonna find out one day. And we won't run, we'll try to forget. Steady thoughts of pictures. May drift from your head. We've been running faster to try and forget. But I won't forget, I'm calling your bet. We won't forget.

INSURRECTION
This city's falling tonight. Abrogating rules that set us back so far. And with it's power so light. Divided we fall, united we shall fight. [(Chorus)We'll show them what is right. It's our right. It's our God given right. It's our right. We're giving our insight.] With all the time that's gone by. Above all w should learn to live in peace. But if the land is turning dry. And we all go so blind when we look up to the sky. [CHORUS]

THAT DAY
He walked in through a swinging door. He saw a face he knows he's seen before. And with pinpoint reaction he fell down. His eyes turned to wings. He left this sinking ground. And with no fear at all. He walked right up to her. Just like a mating call. She only shrugged her head to turn away. But as she turned away. He took a little bit of her life that day. He knew exactly where he stood that day. Another face he's seen before. Inspiration, revelation right from the start. Running bridges through each door. He didn't seem to mind he gave up half his heart. But sometimes feelings change. He walked right up to her. His mind was rearranged. And from his pocket he reigned fire. Killed them both. And then he turned away. He took a little bit of her life that day. He knew exactly where he stood that day. And when you reach for him. Crying out dying tears. Holding on to yourself. He turned away.

NATIONAL SUNDAY LAW
All of these electric eyes. Stare out to the moon. To see if someone will come to save us soon. We speak of a ritual that everone entrusts. Yet we have yet to see a sign on truthfulness. [(Chorus)And I know it's just the beast within this place. It has horns just like a lamb. But has no face. You are what they call. The national Sunday law. Face it all alone without embrace.] It's all crashing down on me. Like waves onto the sand. And there is no one. To lend a helping hand. Pushing more and more each day. To make it go away. Somehow I think it's here eternally. [CHORUS] Forces unite amidst stupendous crisis.

FADING AWAY
A long, long time ago. There was a man who came this way. He was indulged by the constant urge to drink and, though he never raised his hand or voice. To say too much, they took away his right to think. Prescriptions and philosophies. Followed his last days. He cried more tears. Than he ever heard before. He said the world was different then. He bowed his neck and bowed his head. They found him dead. Behind double locking doors. A dark and stormy night. Without a phone or any light. There came a noise. That woke me from my sleep and, though the switch. Would not light up the room. In which I entered dark, I saw a man hidden in the murky deep. Well my heart was filled with rage. And my mind was filled with hate. I let him know I was not laying down. And as the room refused to light. Something seemed to snap inside. And now I'm doing 20 years to life.
